The Religious Worldviews of Our Day and the Search for Truth

Jacqueine wrote, "Preach it brother. I am so sick of hitting Christian websites that have sold their soul to the one world religion movement. They are perverters of the truth, and deny the glory of our Lord. They start off sounding so good that most get sucked in. Yes we believe in Jesus but later on you find they also believe in Buddah, and everyone else who lays claim to deity. The webs of deciet are so entangled around the hearts of those attending church that it is hard to know who really holds true to Jesus as the only way.
The storm, the shaking is soooo necessary as it is the only thing that can sort out the real from the false. Whilst I do not look forward to suffering I believe it will be for the ultimate good as people will be forced to face the truth of the Bible. Bring it on Lord Jesus, wake up your Church. Send fire and storms if that is what it will take to clean up your Bride.
Thankyou for an encouraging, positive Christ glorifying site. Blessings be upon you as you stand against the rising tide of apostacy. May God so inspire your creativity that you would reach thousands for the Kingdom of God."

Hello, I just read your article "Americas Godly Heritage" I was looking up different information concerning how America was founded on Godly Principles. This is a nice site. "

Christopher wrote, saying: "All of the new age writings point to this man as the antichrist, and he has the schtick to back it up. I have not read your site yet, but please keep in mind that the antichrist will be a great deceiver, and by peace he shall destroy wonderfully. He will not be a obvious world dictator, but the peoples of the world will want to follow him, and they will do his persecuting of the saints for him. Thank you for your diligence in warning people of the things to come. I myself do not fear the antichrist because the Bible tells us to fear God alone.
I often feel extremely saddened by "christianity" today, because it has recreated God in its own image, to its own likeness. I hope the real christians out there come out of that, and stick to to words of our Lord and his true prophets, not the pretenders of today. Again, thank you for your site, and I look forward to reading it."

Bill wrote, saying: "I am definitely on your side- the side of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Thanks for a job well done. I never voted for old slick , both times I voted the republican ticket.
Have you ever noticed that the quick liberal response to those of us termed "The Religious Right" is a shout of "Racist","bigots", etc. when our stand has nothing to do with race or bias? It has only to do with believing in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit."

Charlene wrote, saying: "I was encouraged when I "accidentally" found your site. So many in our world today want to "candy coat" the issues and say that "Well, it's not that bad," or "As long as the economy is good, what difference does it make?" or "What he does in his private life is just that. Private." I say HORSE - HOCKEY! If you live in the White House your life is not your own. It is a goldfish-bowl of staggering proportions. Everything you say, do and how you behave yourself is subject to scrutiny. If the President of the United States considers it a small thing to LIE to the people who put him in office, what obligation does the rest of society have to be truthful? He must apologize (and re-instate) every CEO, military man and university professor who ever stooped to illicit relationships with subordinates or students!
I'm shocked that the femi-Nazi's haven't risen up in outcry at the shameful way our President has conducted himself with women! Yet they continue to support him BECAUSE HE SUPPORTS THEIR AGENDAS! What a mockery! What a prostitution of power! I was enraged that the Senate failed to impeach AND REMOVE this lawbreaking liar! Surely the last days are upon us when the person elected to the highest office in the land behaves and CONTINUES TO BEHAVE in this manner even when the general consensus of Americans think his actions are reprobate. I'll bet he didn't know he and his ilk were in the Bible... II Timothy 3:1-4.
Thank goodness that there is one more person who has the nerve to publish the truth on the avenue of the freest exchange of ideas there has ever been...THE INTERNET!"

Cody wrote, saying: "Well I started out on your "hate mail" page and laughed a lot. Those people are the outcome of "The Dumbing of America" they have no basis for their arguments and are only mad because the truth that is on this page.
I see that you have done much research and know what you are talking about. We need more Christians who begin to dig and educate themselves on things in this world and how we belonging to God are to battle and reach this world for Christ. And I feel that all Christians today should have a sense of urgency because the return of Christ is near, and He desires all men to be saved, so we as Christians need to get on the ball.
Great page keep it up, and don't let the intellectually challenged get you down. "

Nathan wrote, saying: "Thank you for you information on the Jefferson issue of Separation of the Church and State. We are a group that is building and Encouraging Prayer Groups and Bible Study Group in the Work place. Many in the Work place have been plagued by the "Separation of Church and State" propaganda. We have used some information from your site and reference you to it and suggest to visit your site. Thank you again and God Bless."

Mike wrote, saying: "I have only just discovered your webpage today, but I am already very impressed with it. I was especially pleased that while you seem to hold to a pre-trib Rapture, you also recommend Rosenthal and VanKampen's books. I also appreciated the link to the Rapture Ready site, as I have been frequenting that site for the past year, disagreements on the Rapture aside. I hope that God continues to bless you in your endevours."

Rodger wrote, saying: "In regards to Y2k, We have been told that faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains. I have personally never seen any of God's creations suffer and they can't even carry a credit card much less use one. If He can care for all the animals, plants, and every other living thing on earth why can't He take care of us in any time of need we might have? Think of Zimbobwe, how much will they notice the changing of the millenium? As long as we don't lose the gift that Jesus Christ has given us, we will all be just fine. "

Butch wrote, saying: "I am not an old man, nor am I a highly educated man, only have year of college. But, I have enough sense to see some things happening in our country that are against everything our forefathers stood for. I agree in most part with your speech, and am glad we still have people such as yourself to carry forward the fight for our freedom, for which so many Americans died and bled for, including members of my family. "

Anna wrote, saying: "I think this is the most important speech to be given in this generation. It is too bad that too few will be able to read it. And too many will dismiss it because their minds are scared by too long listening to and believing the politically correct crowd. GOD HELP US. "

Edward wrote, saying: "Just writing to see if you were still here or if you had been taken in M J Agee's rapture. It was supposed to be on May 31 you know. I guess I got left behind. Maybe you and me can figure out what's next."

Jim wrote, saying: "Although I disagree with your conclusions about my religious beliefs (I'm a Baha'i) I do appreciate the obvious care you took to insure the accuracy of the Baha'i quotes you used along with the correct spelling of proper names..eg..Baha'u'llah. "

Jim wrote, saying: Bravo! A well formulated and perceptive essay that was VERY thought provoking. Another counterfeit (Gore)"Christian" exposed! And, coincidently I believe just today I read something about the President suggesting utilizing $1,000,000,000 (that's a lot of zeros!) to combat global warming!! In the meantime people in Alaska are getting record cold. The conspiracy goes on--at the speed of light during Clinton's watch!

Sharon wrote, saying: " I wish to express how much I enjoy your site. I carry a special burden for America and those trapped in secular Psychology. By the Lord's grace and mercy He lead me away from the heavy medications (for depression) and into His arms. He is faithful! Praise God!
My heart breaks when I read the comments sent to you (hate mail). It shows without a doubt the great job our leftist media has done in clouding the minds of our citizens. Very few people think for themselves. They take the media as the Gospel truth, and it is truly frightening! I have a small but growing website and some of your commentaries here could have been written by me! We seem to be burdened in the same areas. (And I mean burdened in a positive light-for Jesus' sake!) I also addressed the true agenda behind the anti-smoking campaign, and the recent threats against gun manufacturers.
I want you to know I will be praying for you! Your ministry here is truly a light in a lost and dying world. I have been guilty of being a silent Christian for too long. I beleive it is directly attributed to my lack of trust in the Lord. I worry about losing my job, etc., etc., instead of knowing without a doubt that He is faithful in ALL things, and will always take care of me no matter what! I feel I spend more time wrestling with God than listening to Him! I was encountering much confusion by taking in too much info from too many sources. I now stick with the Word, which for me is the AKJV 1611, and listen to the Holy Spirit. Too many supposed "sheperds" twist the "simplicity that is Christ Jesus".
If I know nothing else, I know Jesus is Lord! Thank you for your inspiration to me, and may the light from your site be shed on some tender hearts truly seeking the real Truth! "

"Wow! I was quite pleased with your site, it is refreshing to see the work of other soldiers in Christ who do not concern themselves with the affairs of this life, but rather keep their focus on heavenly things and fight to set captives free. I agree that America is falling and will someday become desolate. We have become as Sodom and Gomorrah, full of wickedness and every evil work. Daily, true believers are vexed by the filthy conversations of their neighbours. People have become lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, choosing to enjoy the pleasures of sin rather than suffer affliction with the people of God. Woe to the wicked and those who slumber in a time of trouble. God will not be mocked, they will reap that which they sow. Our country fits the description of the last great Babylon, the great whore who sits on many waters, a great nation with many different races living together. "How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her." Rev. 18:7,8 These are strong words of warning to America, a nation full of pride and arrogance. God will bring the high minded down low and shake the very foundation of this modern day Babylon. Praise God! For our redeemer draweth nigh!"

Watchman wrote, saying: "Just visited your site for the first time, and wanted to register my wholehearted agreement with your position. I was born again in 1987. At that time we thought things had gotten pretty bad, and were then "looking for the great God and our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ"; but in 1998?- Wow!!
This is an astonishingly exciting time for the Christian, at least it should be. Yet where is the zeal? How is it that people who call themselves by His Name are not fairly quivering at the signs of the times? Something is definately wrong here. Where is the burden for the lost? (I've had more Jehovahs Witnesses come to my door in the past 5 years than Christians!) So many Christians today seem to be under the same national hypnosis that the secular world suffers from! Please pray for the Christians; for an awakening, repentance, & revival. And praise God, brothers, WE'RE THE GENERATION!! Thank God for his WORD! For "ye, brethren, are not in darkness that that day should overtake you as a thief".!! (1Thes. 5:4)
There is some indication however that we may not be "raptured" prior to tribulation, or trial by fire, as we many have been taught. We may be required to undergo things our less priviledged brothers around the world have endured for centuries for their faith and testimony. Nevertheless, may His will be done.
NO MORE PLAYING CHURCH. It's time for us to gird up our loins, pray without ceasing, and put on the whole armor of God. Pray for the Christian Church (the church not made with hands) that we would be found HOT, not cold, or God forbid- lukewarm.
I thank you for your ministry. I'll be praying with you in the coming days & weeks that the Lord will continue to increase our understanding, our strength, and love toward all the saints; that we might boldly speak the truth in love, and grow mightily together into the faith once delivered to the saints- and that ultimately He would be glorified. I have nothing to plead but the blood of Jesus. "

Josh wrote, saying: "I am using you as a resource for my Senior paper. I have been on many different web pages, but I don't believe that they have the same impact as yours does. I really enjoyed reading the article "The Homosexualization of America" I thought that it was right on with scripture and was really well put. Thank you for this web site. "

RHEntrprse wrote, saying: "Great stuff. I will make this site know in my circle of contacts. A significant part of our problem is that many of our countrymen are stupid and lazy when it comes to thinking anything through. Sorry, but that is the truth. It is the only conclusion that can be made if you are at all aware of what is going on around you. Clinton's is the modern day Prince of Darkness. He plays the media like a banjo.
This man's history of shady dealings could fill a land fill.
 Thank you for the information."

Karen wrote, saying: "What a wonderfully refreshing website to discover.
I have recently been through the throes of a church "takeover" as I call it. I am glad to see the truth being told of how Satan works so subtly and is taking over the churches in America. I agree with everything you have written, and found the articles on Clinton very informative. I am especially happy that the sources were included.
 Keep up the good work!
Thank you Lord, for the truth being spread."

Judith wrote, saying: "I just finished reading your article [Clinton Resigns] and heartily agree with you 100%. I believe the most we can do today, as believing Christians is to pray for these evil people to see the error of their ways before it's too late. Personally, I am ashamed of my fellow humans, not just for their rejection of Jesus Christ, but for the atrocities practiced and allowed by our civilisation. I live now and pray for the Rapture to come soon. "

Pgaspar wrote, saying: "This is great! I was looking for this info. for a sunday school lesson that I am going to teach."

DHines wrote, saying: "This has got to be the most interesting thing that I have yet to find on the WWW. But don't you think that putting in the same page as Rush Limbaugh is kinda dangerous?
I have looked for this site for three days now and I finally found it here on the Rush Limbaugh Page. By the way is there any relation to his 666 radio stations and his 20, 000,000 listeners that seems familiar to you? Let me know what you think and I will continue to read this page as long as I am free to get in on my computer.
Keep up the good work and don't let us down."

John wrote, saying: "May God's blessings be on you and your work.
What you are doing with your site is Patriotic from both a Christian and Political standpoint.
It is really disturbing to me what is happening in our blessed land. America is a special place to God. He took too much time creating it and his work shows his great care and the love of the craftsman.
Do I think there hope for our land and our world? Sure, the Lord Jesus Christ is our hope and God will forgive our land if we humble ourselves to him, turn from our wicked ways and ask him for forgiveness.
What should the Church do? First, become the "C"hurch. Not "c"hurch. First off, Christ's bride is going to have to act like a righteous "Lady". A Lady which seeks righteousness not mamon. Church was not intended to be a big business it is today. Preachers earn superstar salaries and "Ministers" have all kinds of tax loopholes. The has decided it should meet the needs of it's people (and itself) by building monster buildings, sports complexes and come across more as resorts. The "Best" preacher that ever lived preached on the shores of Galilee from a boat and from a hillside. Historical records do not indicate any buildings. His audience was so enthralled by the man that He and his followers were afraid to send the people home without eating. Jesus, of course, was that preacher. Sure, we need buildings and clean facilities, but there must be some accountability.
Did not mean to get on my soapbox, but I feel I am writing to someone who has an honest concern for our Country and our Lord.
Thanks again for all your hard work and clear thought."

Brmar wrote, saying: "Why won't Bill Clinton at least have enough guts to come on the Rush Limbaugh radio program,(THE EIB NETWORK) and dispute the facts??????????
It's true, even a Republican president (AKA:Nixon),has enough guts to resign?????
Please tell me why this is so about Bill Clinton."

Criticism

Lise wrote, saying: "I am writing this letter to inform you that FreeShop has received several complaints in regard to our name recognition on the following site: www.jeremiahproject.com
It is our understanding that you are the owner of the site mentioned above. Due to the controversial religious topics that are introduced on your site, we would like to ask you to remove all reference to FreeShop and any FreeShop Associate Program links from the site.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for your anticipated immediate compliance with this demand."

To which I replied:
I am a little confused. What is it about the Jeremiah Project that would cause someone to complain to FreeShop? Could you please provide me a little more detail about the nature of the complaints? Do you not approve of Christian sites? Please help me understand your request to remove the FreeShop Associate Program links from the site.

And Lise answered, saying: I am sorry if I was not clear my previous correspondence with you. Although I am not in a position to divulge any specific information in regards to the individual complaints to your site, "The Jeremiah Project," I can specify the following:
 1) According to Freeshop, the website titled "Jeremiah Project" and located at http://www.jeremiahproject.com promotes discrimination based on religion toward other religions that are not in accordance with the views of those involved in the "Jeremiah Project."
 2) According to the Freeshop Associate Program Operating Agreement (which is required of all Freeshop Associates and can be accessed via the Freeshop.com website), associate websites which "promote discrimination based on religion" and/or that are "defamatory in nature" are unsuitable for participation in the FreeShop.com Associate Program.
 3) Additionally, the Freeshop Operating Agreement states that Freeshop.com may reject an Associate Membership to the Program "if Freeshop.com determines for any reason in its sole discretion that an Associate site is unsuitable for the Program."
I hope this response has served to better explain the reasoning behind our request for the removal of Freeshop references from the Jeremiah Project website. Again, thank you for your participation in the Freeshop.com Associate Program and for your anticipated compliance with this situation.

jabsmw@uwec.edu wrote, saying: "You do not have to worry. You need not hide behind illusion any longer. It is all right, there are many people walking the earth that do not call themselves Christians-and they turn out just fine! Ask yourself, do you really need a crutch when your legs work just fine. Do you need someone to formalize your values, and how to live your life for you? What reason do you have to go on believing when all rationality Should tell you that you are wrong? I would like to know why you push beliefs that are false on other people?! Logically and philosophically the dogmas of the Christian religion fall a part- For example- How can there be an Omnipotent, Omniscient, Benevolent GOD?-- As Christians claim?
Can your God Make a stick with only one end? How about a rock so big that she cannot lift it? You see, you break logical laws when you object to these questions. If God could make a rock so big that she could not lift it- then she is not Omnipotent- If she cannot- she is still not Omnipotent. So how do you defend that?? Answer that question and I might be inclined to take your religions sermons seriously- otherwise they will remain nothing more than prattle. I would enjoy a response to these questions. I mean no disrespect to your faith-However- you are open to this sort of e-mail when you put out such a site to the public. Besides- upon examination of your site, it seems that you rather enjoy such e-mails."

David wrote, saying: "I am appauled at the trashing you give to the ecumenical projects such as Promise Keeper and Operation Rescue. The sectarian exclusiveness you promote is the root cause of all the divisions in the church.
What do you think of the ALPHA inititive in Britain, given its brought 1000's to Christ and bridged the denominational divides?
Some verses of scripture for you to think of:
"Let he who hath no sin cast the first stone".
"No one in the same breath can proclaim Christ is Lord and then curse him in the next".
"By their fruits you shall know them".
I will leave you to figure out their application as your web site demontrates your versatility in this matter.
As a Christian I am very saddened by you. Surely the efforts you have spent in creating the website could of been put to much better use."

Adam wrote, saying: "Marian worship? I don't think so. The doctrine of the Immaculate heart? I don't even know what that is!!!! Never heard of it. As for her as our mediator and other saints as well......Ever asked anyone to pray for you? If you have, they are a mediator.
Purgatory......Would it be fair for a person who accepts Christ, but does awful things, such as Hitler, and shows no remorse for them to go straight to heaven? As Abraham said "Should not the judge of all the world be fair?"
signed In Christ and Mary Immaculate

Sometimes I find how the sender signs their messages almost as revealing as what they write.

Gecko wrote, saying: "I am a Catholic, and for one thing, we DON'T WORSHIP MARY!!! You are uninformed, uneducated, and self-righteous! We respect Mary, but we don't worship her. The only One we worship is God. Whoever told you otherwise lied to you."

Beth wrote, saying: "50% of children today are living with one parent. And, most of these single parents are mothers! Why do married "Christian" parents continually blame the women for the breakup??? Why do you continually make us look like the bad guy.....Oh its that woman you sent me Lord.....The male figure is never around....and when he is, he abuses............oh, but its that womans fault Lord....he never pays child support either when he's suppose to... All you can say is its the "Feminist Movement" like we are all feminists. Don't put us in that category, ok! Wake up and smell the coffee. Face it! Admit it and get on with your life! "

Anne wrote, saying: "I am a firm believer of freedom of religion. It is wrong for any person to be persecuted for their faith. Too many wars have been fought in the name of the Lord; too many of God's people have been killed in fighting for what people believe God wants. What we need is mutual respect; after all, we are all human, all creations of the same Creator; no one more valuable than another. So why do so many religions feel it their obligation to squash all diversity with the ignorant and savage quest of conversion? We must open our minds.
As for the "separation of church and state," we have been arguing on Constitutional grounds for too long. Even IF we could determine the exact intentions of our founder's words, would this make it automatically right? The Constitution is not a sacred document! It was made by people, who are subject to human error and the frailties of human perception. What I am trying to say is that religion has no place in our schools. By no means is this trying to ban religion from our society, but to force it upon all--to replace all others--is unethical and ignorant. As is said in your site, one cannot endorse one authority without rejecting all others. Thus, your plan is ultimately to establish a single dominant religion (something which is, by the way, forbade by our Constitution) and this is morally wrong. Why, you ask, is it wrong? Because we are only humans. We can only interpret the words of God. Who can say whose interpretation is more correct than somebody else's, that one form of worship is better than another? Rather, I would argue that these very deviations is what makes the human race wonderful, that each person has their own interpretation and spirituality, and that to compromise this is to compromise our humanity.
Religion should not be in the business of assimilation. Its business is not of politics but of spirituality and guidance, of showing one possible way of worship to those who want it. How much suffering will there be in the name of "purity"--or one version of purity? How could this, indeed, be God's will? "

I wonder how Anne interpets Mark 16:15 or Matthew 4:19?

Prchrgrl wrote, saying: "You have a few misconceptions regarding ecological theology... First, ecological theology supports the claim that the image of God is in every body/thing. NOT that anthropocentrism is a curse on the earth. Rather, it is our selfishness (essentially, our sin, which is defined through action, rather than a state of being) is our downfall. Eco theologians claim a high sense of "created in the image of God" and therefore, claim that we, as Christians, must set a good example to others, in order to lead "us" out of our own selfishness. Jesus Christ is our example for humanity, in that He took responsibility for both the "haves and have not's" -- giving precident to those with the "not". A completely selfless understanding of our role as Christians. We are relational beings. We have a responsibility to the earth. And the dynamic nature of "us" is self-transcendence. Because we are teleological, we assume a calling to our end (not to the end of the body of God) -- we are called to live in communion with God (ALL of God's created goodness), and are therefore called to care for the earth."

Jack wrote, saying: "Environmentalists do not worship the Earth. They see it as Gods greatest example of his love and joy, and humans as a part of it. Environmentalists don't particularly think that we are more important than any other manifestations of God's Love."

Stephen wrote, saying: "How sad it is that so-called Christians pracitce hate and evil in a manner that certainly Christ would find appalling. What a load of nonsense on this site. You people have gone over the edge with your ridiculous hatred of the Clintons. They have been abused and lied about enough. Even if your reporting was even close to accurate, which it isn't, it's obvious that you're motivated by hatred. Valid criticism of an Administration is fine, but that's not what we've got here. You people are sick, and if the Christian theology represents truth, there is no question that you are hell-bound."

Zechs wrote, saying: "Okay, first of all, to begin this message, I'd like to say I respect your views, but merely choose to disagree.
Your site declares that the liberal social engineers have declared Christians the enemy. That's not really true. You mention that Christians are bashed amid cries for tolerance and diversity. It would seem, however, that the only Christians you are bashed are those who claim that their faith is the only acceptable one, which is a somewhat ignorant assumption to make. In addition, you seem to clearly support a union of church and state. Yet, you fail to acknoledge what a diverse society America has these days. If you unite church and state, you totally ignore other religion's systems of belief, and make some people feel alienated.
You claim that secularism is destroying Christianity. You seem to believe that there is some sort of raging governmental prejudice against Christians, just as some Jewish people would believe of themselves.
Here is a quote from your site: "When was the last time you saw a TV show or movie, for example, that portrayed Christians as anything other than greedy, unlikeable hypocrites or mealy-mouthed, incompetent "nerds?"
I've seen plenty of T.V. shows and movies, and you seem to be confusing character with religion. If a director or writer wants a character to act a certain way, they tailor the character to those standards. The religion of the character barely enters into it. In actually, I can't remember the last Christian bashing media I viewed. I have however, seen much media that portrays virtually all gay people as mindless tools of immorality, so rejoice, as you don't have it so hard.
 P.S. - I am a Christian myself, so don't think I'm just a random moron."

Eliot wrote, saying: "I think that if you were honest you would see that the Bible cannot be the word of God. It contains hundreds of contradictions and makes your God out to be guilty of genocide, murder and ignorant of the world that you say he created. Read your Bible honestly and objectively if you dare and you will see how wrong you are. Stop playing dumb just because you dare not read your Bible with an open mind. The God of the Bible is a despot and not worthy of respect or worship. I would hope that you would cease to spread what is simply not true. BE HONEST FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE. If there is a God, He is far greater than your warped view of Him. I dare you to read your Bible with an open, honest mind. For the sake of your God and the world, please stop spreading untruth."

Don wrote, saying: "Jesus taught about forgiveness, about Love, and about judgement. He warned us to watch our judgements and 'stone throwing'. Your Web pages are filled with judgements and condemnations. And you do this in the name of Jesus. Perhaps you should think again about some of the things you are saying. And about in who's name you are saying these things. Many have used the name of Jesus when in fact it is the name of the prince of darkness in who's name they really speak.
Are you practicing forgiveness, love, and watching your judgements?

Baggins wrote, saying: "How can you say that America was a Christian nation? What about the treaties of Tripoli, in which John Adams states that the US is not in any way affiliated with the Christian Church? What about when Thomas Jefferson says that there must be separation of church and state? What about the first amendment, which guarantees that the government will not get involved in religion? We were not founded by Christians; in fact, many of the Founders were Deists!
Furthermore, how can you say that there is a collapse of ethical values? Is slavery an ethical value? What about segregation, or beating women, or forcing children to work in sweatshops, or abusing the disabled? Are those Christian values? Are you a racist and sexist? Yes, lets all go back to the "good ol' days" when humans were thought of as possessions and have oppression rampant and we'll all be happy!

Susan wrote, saying: "I find your attitude to be very dangerous in light of today's explosive atmosphere. We should be spreading the word of God's love, not the gibberish you have posted on your web site.
God loves all of His creations; man, woman, children, black, white, old, crippled, healthy, Latin, French, Polish, German, Jewish, short, tall etc. There is no limit to God's love. We all flow from Him, and it is to Him we shall all return. God will not judge us, as He has given us the ability to judge ourselves, not one another, but ourselves. Our actions, our thoughts, our prejudices.
God created harmony in His universe. Man, and all of his petty jealousies, is the one to blame for upsetting the balance of harmony in our lives. There is no room for hatred if love is to bloom, there is no room for anger if joy is to be attained. While you are busy condemning the person next to you for not following your line of thinking, someone is busy condemning you for yours. Is this what God wants in His universe? Why can't we all look to God and praise Him in our own personal way? What makes you right and the next person wrong? Is it not the end result that we seek, a harmonious path in God's Kingdom?
I pray each night for the souls of those I have loved and lost. I know they are in the company of God, and know that they in turn pray for me. Who will pray for you? "

X W wrote, saying: "I am a high school student who was searching the Internet for information on Chief Seattle for an English paper, and I stumbled across your website, the page on Enviromentalism. I found some of it interesting and amusing. But I loved the way you made out Al Gore; I had always thought of him as uptight conservative Democrat, (which is better than being as Fascist and idiotic as the likes of Reagan, Bush, and Quayle, however.) I didn't realize he was that intelligent as to want to attack the evils of Western Civilization and Capitalism.
What this world needs is more Buddhism, Socialism, and real Democracy, and less so-called "christians", capitalism, and aristocratic fascism. I mean obviously Clinton and Gore aren't perfect, they're part of this NATO/Yugoslav/Kosovo insanity (Let's make him stop killing innocent people by killing innocent people!) But they're still better than the crap Reagan did (Grenada, Nicaragua, etc.)
I was thinking about getting my friends to vote for Bradley in their first vote, (as I can't yet, another example of the aristocracy) but I'll have to think about Gore if he is such a Socialist...
But any way, nice website... AT least you writing about what you believe, even if you are a moron and are completely wrong... "

Kerby wrote, saying: "Your site is very good and very appropriate for the time we are living in today. However, I will pray for you as you freely quote NIV (non-inspired version) scripture. I know that you don't yet understand what I am talking about and that you are fulfilling prophecy ---Matthew 13"

ETerry wrote, saying: "I have trouble with any other version except the KJV. I consider there to be only one Bible, any other version is just man's attempt to improve God's word, as if He needed help. Don't get me wrong, I don't condemn any one else for using other versions, this is my own preference. But I do not hold with quoting other versions. "

Ryno wrote, saying: "I have read a lot of rubbish, but I have to say, your whole "project" takes the cake..Although giving me many hours of joyous laughter, I must say that almost none of the "information" on your page has any basis in reality. Did you ask yourself one day: "Self..What can I do to make my web page more ignorant?" If this is what you came up with, you did a great job of just that.
"Religious people, and Christians in particular, face open discrimination against their religious beliefs and expression in public schools."
Come on. Are you an utter moron? That is the stupidest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. 90% of all students are Christian, and they force their beliefs onto those of us who aren't. Did you just walk up to some guy holding a "Mathew" sign and ask him to tell you the first thing that popped into his mind? It definately seems like it. It is pages like this, and people like you that have made me a non-Christian...How can anyone actually believe this nonsence and be able to keep a straight face?"

Sherotica wrote, saying: "You are just as radical as the environmentalist movement which you attack....a radical is a radical, despite the cause....judge not, lest you be judged....."

Eugene wrote, saying: "In what I've read among the various sites, I see these things; I see biased views intent on manipulation. I see Hate in all these words. I know very little truths in this world but I know one thing, you are what you hate. I implore you keep the spirit alive, and a much cooler head, almost anyone can tell, you're bordering on fanatisim, and when you cross that line you are no longer serving Gods purpose, you're serving your own."

Archie wrote, saying: "After reading all the headlines, your articles, and seeing the changing face of the WORLD, I have come to realization that we are all doomed. Everyone has a GOD, Bible, or some belief in a higher being, and thinks that gives them the right to make JUDGEMENT on others. Having been able to study many different religions, they all have a strong similiarity: Violence, Hate, and racism. That's not saying that I do not believe, but what I choose to believe is what my mind and intelligence allows me to understand as I read all the different bibles. I do know however, that all of the different religions of this world do grant each individual the freedom to believe in the words as they understand them.
What I see from your group is no different than that of all the other "so called" religions be it christianity, budhism, muslem, Jewish or whatever; is that you all want to control peoples behavior and existence, which is contrary to any of the bibles of the world.
What this World not Country, needs is that each person from childhood be exposed to a religious foundation, that their Mother's and Father's choose. And that each person, according to the bible, live appropriately, based on their interpretation of the book, not your's or mine; And that man realizes that he is not God's Judge and Jury, but only a subject.
Your group and all other's should practice some control or your actions become no better than that of Clinton, Castro, Iran, Iraq, Hitler, Israel and many others, trying to show how much better you are than your neighbor, through the words of a GOD. Try and understand the bible for yourself and not expect all to agree with your decisions based on the words.
Not trying to criticize you, just saying we all need to look in the mirror, and let judgement be made by the words and not MAN."
