 Economically, America is on the brink of financial disaster as she
has jettisoned her strength through independence and has bound herself to a
faltering global economy.
Bill Clinton is simply not fit to be President of the United
States. This is not a person that has a concept of obeying the spirit of the
law, let alone the letter of the law. This is a man with no concept of right
and wrong. No concept of what is and is not appropriate. And perhaps a man with
no conscience.
Certainly, Bill Clinton has no respect for his cabinet, no respect
for his closest advisers, and no respect for women. Here's a man who called his
cabinet in and denied the Lewinsky matter to them and then sent the women,
Donna Shalala and Madeline Albright, outside in front of reporters to defend
him and attack Ken Starr? Who can overlook the fact he sent his own wife out to
blame his problems on a "Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy," and later on prejudice
toward Arkansas.
Bill
Clinton has no respect for the people who put him there. No respect for the
American people. No respect for that office. No respect for what it means to be
entrusted by the people of this nation to serve at the highest capacity.
Bill Clinton is not
interested in being truthful with you. He is not interested in his cabinet or
his advisers or his counsel or his family or the American people. He is
interested in the same thing he has always been interested in: Bill
Clinton.
Quite honestly, I think impeachment or resignation would be
letting this man off easy. I don't suppose anyone would be open to the
suggestion of maybe 'tar and feathers.' Mr. Clinton at one point acquiesced to
the point of accepting responsibility... maybe America should hold him to that.
We have a wonderful penial system where he would be with other like-minded
individuals.
Despite the rhetoric to the contrary, Bill Clinton has repeatedly
shown his
disregard for everything truthful, honorable, good and Christian. He has
been implicated in drug
smuggling, providing cocaine to teenage girls in exchange for sex, money
laundering, insider stock trading, defrauding taxpayers,
real estate fraud,
abusing the power of his
office, and has repeatedly proven himself to be an unashamed adulterer. In
short, Bill Clinton lies, cheats, steals, sleeps around, lies some more, lies
about lying, and then smiles. And the American public love him for it.
It is a sad commentary on the American electorate that what once
would have been corporately rejected is now accepted. Americans have learned to
tolerate what is evil and have redefined that evil to appear good in order to
appease their consciences. It's what Senator Moynihan called, "defining
deviancy down." When some form of deviant behavior gets out of hand, we simply
redefine it as normal and learn to live with it.
Other Americans have either become complacent, skeptical, or are
outright ignorant of what is really happening. Most troubling, though, is that
many Americans actually agree with what is happening and welcome it.
If Bill Clinton is the bridge to the 21st. Century and unless
there is a spiritual renewal in America, the America of the 21st. century is
truly frightening. Everything that made America great will be replaced by a new
enlightened liberal design. Returning to Romans 1 for our outline, let us
imagine the America we are preparing for our children.
Rejecting a holy God in favor of a more tolerant supreme force,
mankind loses all connection to something greater than himself resulting in a
form of nihilism that enables him to form a god in his own image. Everything
the human heart can imagine and desire becomes the ambition of life regardless
of the consequences to themselves or others.
Love is exchanged for lust as traditional familes are
replaced with multiple domestic partners. Homosexuality becomes the norm
resulting in widespread disease and birth defects. As an increasing majority of
the population becomes infected with deadly diseases, different targets of
sexual gratification will become necessary and man will invent new ways of
satisfying that desire. The age of consent will be lowered or outright
abolished so that the yet uninfected children will become targets for ravenous
sexual predators. A breed of humans might be raised in the laboratory or in
another country to stock the harems of those in power and can afford it. The
more technologically advanced "technoelites" will find their release in
computerized "virtual" forms of safe-sex.
Crime will become so out of control that governments will
enforce "crime-free" zones where politically correct communities will be
pandered to with their every desire. Outside those PC communities existence
will be "every-man-for-himself". Survival will be uppermost in most people's
minds and they will rely on their baser instincts to overcome the challenges
they are faced with. Murder, cheating and stealing will be commonplace as
ruthless individuals compete for power and authority in a choatic and tyranical
world.
Debauchery will
spiral out of control as those power hungry people proudly invent new ways to
commit wrongdoings to others.
Sound like a bunch of science fiction hooey? Much of what I just
described is history. With the exception of some of the technological
stuff, much of the description would describe Nazi Germany, 18th century
France, or the Roman Empire prior to its fall.
Folks, this doesn't have to be the future of America. There is a
better way if only we will choose it. Jesus promised a better life, a life full
of abundance and joy. But, we must choose it!
If my people who are called by my
name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways,
then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. -
