When I first wrote on this topic over 20 years ago, all these efforts to advance the homosexual agenda were only a dream in the minds of godless liberals and scoffed at as some crazy conspiracy theory.  Well, it’s no conspiracy theory any more… today, it’s mostly reality.

The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, the National Organization of Women, and the Democrat Party, serve to advance the homosexual agenda in American society. And while many of the people in the media are not personally homosexuals, they do believe that the cause of homosexuality should be advanced as a civil right. We’re Here, We’re Queer… Get Used to It!

Since President Clinton became the first president to be personally and publicly committed to the principles of equality and acceptance for gays and lesbians, the homosexual agenda has made tremendous progress.  He promised homosexual and lesbian groups support for a national gay rights law which would make homosexuality a constitutionally protected civil right. Such a law would give homosexuals, pedophiles, and sado-masochists the same preferred standing at law that is now enjoyed by blacks, Hispanics, women, and the physically handicapped.

While they have largely failed at advancing their agenda legislatively, they have been very successful in the courts.

In 2003, sexual activity between consenting adults of the same sex has been legal nationwide, pursuant to the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Lawrence v. Texas.

They wanted to give a man who marries another man the same rights as a husband and wife, and in  2015, the Supreme Court decision in Obergefell v. Hodges requires all states to perform and recognize the marriages of same-sex couples on the same terms and conditions as the marriages of opposite-sex couples, with all the accompanying rights and responsibilities.

Another of their goals is to make it illegal for churches and other religious groups to “discriminate” against homosexuals in their hiring practices. The Employment Non-Discrimination Act, was introduced into the US congress in 1994 and reintroduced in 1995 with the support of President Clinton. It was again reintroduced in 1996 and actually made it to a Senate vote where it was narrowly defeated 49 to 50. A slightly modified form of the ENDA bill was again introduced in 1997 where Republican leaders have vowed to not bring the bill to the house floor for a vote. Bills were again introduced into both the House and Senate in 1999; none made it into law. Senator Ted Kennedy re-introduced the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) in 2002 – the Senate adjourned before voting on the bill.

Undoubtedly a national gay rights law such as this would take precedence over first amendment religious freedom, as a local gay rights ordinance took precedence in Washington, D.C., over the deeply held religious views of the Roman Catholic authorities at Georgetown University, who were forced to give standing and subsidies to homosexual student groups.

Passage of ENDA would bar employers from any job-related action against an employee because of their sexual preference or conduct, even when that conduct violates state law, an employer’s conscience, company policy, or all three.

Another of the homosexual agenda is so-called “Hate Crimes” legislation that expands the definition of hate crimes to include offenses based on sexual orientation, gender and disability. Until 2009, a 1969 federal law defined hate crimes committed on the basis of a person’s race, color, religion, or nation origin when engaging in a federally protected activity. In October 2009, Congress passed the Matthew Shepard Act, which expanded the definition of hate crimes to include gender, sexual orientation, gender-identity, and disability and removed the requirement that the victim of a hate crime be engaged in a federally protected activity. President Obama signed the legislation on October 28, 2009.

The homosexual rights movement wants more than “tolerance.”
Its goal is for homosexuality to be considered acceptable and normal.  They want to re-write history and remove from the public sphere any notion that homosexuality is anything but normal and those who oppose it are guilty of homophobia and are sexist and racist.

A Mississippi gay man filed suit in federal court against the Oxford University Press demanding both $45 million in damages and the immediate deletion of all scripture verses describing homosexuality as sinful. Joel Ford claims, “This book of hearsay has abused and oppressed me and my people, the Afro-Americans, and my gay and lesbian sisters and brothers.” Ford said, The Bible abused and oppressed me when it said homosexuality is a sin, because I was born a homosexual.

We are seeing now social media giants such as Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter (and others) removing content from their sites and banning individuals who violate their Orwelian “hate speech” policies. The search giant, Google, has introduced algorithms that penalize web pages that are anti-homosexual and push to the top of their search results pages that promote their warped redefinition of sodomy. Here’s an interesting search you can try for yourself. Search Google images for “white couple.” What do you notice about a high number of its results? Not exactly an accurate representation of a white couple.

While homosexual activists see themselves as fighting for equal rights, what is at stake is ”special rights.” Roy Schmidt, city commissioner of Grand Rapids, Michigan, voted against an ordinance adding gays to the existing civil rights code. He insists, ”I have no problem with the gay community or gay people. My beliefs aren’t based on bigotry or ignorance. But you could take it further and say fat people, prostitutes or left-handed people deserve their own protections.” Like many people who regard themselves as unprejudiced, Schmidt sees gay rights as a threat to traditional families. ”The core family unit already has enough problems. I don’t want my three sons to think that the gay life-style is acceptable.” If his children turned out gay, he adds, ”I would never disown or break away from them. But I would try to have them mend their ways.”

Sodomites and those who plead in their favor constantly call for “acceptance,” but it’s not acceptance they want… they want approval.

Some who have given the homosexual spokespersons the benefit of the doubt think they are talking about being forgiven of their sin and accepted on the basis on repentance. This is not what they mean! The “acceptance” they demand is not that we accept them as penitent, forgiven sinners. It is not forgiveness they seek, or even compromise. No! What they want is – the acceptance of approval. They demand churches drop the “sin” label, and adopt the “alternate life style” description.

To affect their alternate view of reality, the homosexual movement has targeted our children and is teaching in the public schools that homosexuality is normal.  Drag Queen Story Hour is just what it sounds like—drag queens reading stories to children in libraries, schools, and bookstores. Ask any kid today that’s been educated (brain washed) in the government run public school system and they’ll tell you that homosexuality is normal. It’s just another life-style choice no different than the male/female relationship.

Folks, I’m afraid the genie is out of the bottle and it’s not likely things in our culture will return to normal any time soon.  Homosexuality is the “new normal” and will be a huge contributing factor to the collapse of our culture.  It’s hard to image what the long-term ramifications will be, but it’s not good.  Perhaps the results of this sinful behavior will become manifest before our society collapses and saner minds will prevail to turn back this satanic agenda.  Anyone caught up in this movement at any level must repent of their personal sin of allowing this to happen and get on their knees and pray… pray fervently.

The Christian position is clear: Homosexuality is an abomination, and we do not teach “tolerance” of a perverse criminal behavior, any more than we would teach “tolerance” of child abuse, pedophilia, rape, murder, cocaine dealing or embezzlement.

While Christians may hate the sin… we must continue to love the sinner and offer a message of hope for a healthier lifestyle. Our future depends on it.
