It’s no secret. It’s not hidden. The methods and tactics of those wanting to control and dominate the world have been known by our nations leaders for generations. Some used the knowledge to advance their social engineering agenda. A few insiders resisted and spoke out against the loss of liberty planned for America.
We were warned by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1961 of an emerging threat to our Republic and the importance of an alert and knowledgeable citizenry. He spoke of the importance of guarding against the potential influence of the military industrial complex, the dangers of massive deficit spending, government influence on scholars, and a “scientific technological elite”.
Did we heed his warning and did good men do anything?
The mantle of leadership was transferred to John F. Kennedy and he expanded the warning made by his predecessor. In April 1961 he delivered a plea to the American press of their role of alerting and informing the American public of the threats they faced.
John Kennedy’s speech to the media.
Kennedy’s admonition, “… to inform and alert the American people–to make certain that they possess all the facts that they need, and understand them as well–the perils, the prospects, the purposes of our program and the choices that we face,” apparently has fallen on deaf ears. He went on to warn about a misguided press saying, “Without debate, without criticism, no Administration and no country can succeed–and no republic can survive. That is why the Athenian lawmaker Solon decreed it a crime for any citizen to shrink from controversy. And that is why our press was protected by the First Amendment– the only business in America specifically protected by the Constitution- -not primarily to amuse and entertain, not to emphasize the trivial and the sentimental, not to simply “give the public what it wants”–but to inform, to arouse, to reflect, to state our dangers and our opportunities, to indicate our crises and our choices, to lead, mold, educate and sometimes even anger public opinion.”
Fearing unwanted exposure, globalists silenced Kennedy’s voice on Nov. 22, 1963 and America continued its steady slide to where we find ourselves today, witnessing the dismantling of our Constitution one piece at a time.
The mainstream media has since been corrupted by Marxists to the point where objective truth no longer matters.
The historic role of the media acting as a gatekeeper of information flow in an objective manner has been distorted to an ideological filter intended to influence the masses with an anti-liberty, anti-American. pro-Communist ideology.
At risk here is the America envisioned by our founders over 200 years ago and enshrined in our Constitution. If we judge the future by the past, as Patrick Henry said, America is in trouble.
Political Correctness Used to Censor News
Once confined to the educational establishment, political correctness has now broken out in the historical bastion of free speech – the press.
Whatever the reason, the one-time rallying cry of the media, “free speech,” is no longer found in mainstream America newsrooms. It has been replaced with “politically correct” speech disseminated by biased reporters who refuse to speak the truth while ignoring the evidence that our country is being plundered.
“Political Correctness is the communal tyranny that erupted in the 1980s. It was a spontaneous declaration that particular ideas, expressions and behavior, which were then legal, should be forbidden by law, and people who transgressed should be punished. It started with a few voices but grew in popularity until it became unwritten and written law within the community. With those who were publicly declared as being not politically correct becoming the object of persecution by the mob, if not prosecution of the state.” — Philip Atkinson
Political correctness is one avenue collectivists use to foster self-censorship.
If you dare speak up for what you believe, you are branded a racist, hate-monger, homophobic, misogynist, or any number of other disparaging labels. Your speech is called “hate speech” and thus deemed worthy of censorship. To avoid being labeled, many simply keep quiet.
Kill a black person and it’s a hate crime. Kill a homosexual and it’s a hate crime. Kill a Jew and it’s a hate crime. Kill children in a high school and it’s a hate crime. Kill Christian teens in a church and all the pundits can’t figure out what might have been the motive.
The rampage in Fort Worth Texas on Sept. 15, 1999 where a troubled loner killed seven in a Texas church not only reinforces the fact that our culture is in decline, but it also points out the bias of the news media and the hatred that Collectivists have towards Christianity.
Had this shooting involved a black church, Jewish synagogue, Islamic mosque, homosexual night club, or school campus, all the mainstream media reporters would be on location with live reports and news special reports focusing on dissecting the scene of the crime. Commentators would fill the airwaves with pleas of anti-hatred propaganda and gun control.
Not so when Christians are murdered in a church in Texas. What little coverage the media did devote, they spent most of the time talking about a mentally disturbed person, a troubled loner, who apparently acted randomly. No mention of hate!
I’m sure part of the reason the media did not devote much coverage was because they were so focused on distracting the American public, reporting about a Hurricane battering the East coast. The media spent days reporting about a storm they initially hyped as possibly the largest storm to ever hit the United States. So much was made of the storm that many East coast communities were evacuated in what has been described as the largest peace time evacuation in U.S. history. Schools were closed, businesses were closed, government offices were closed and even the Disney amusement park was closed for the first time in history. As it turned out, there was very little loss of life and damage was far less than anticipated. Even after the storm was downgraded to not more than a tropical storm, the news media continued to report about it.
I believe what we really have here is a good example of the bigotry and hatred that the mainstream media has against Christianity. It’s apparent from the lack of news coverage afforded the story in Texas. And, it’s apparent from the lack of reporting (or should I say slanted and biased reporting) ignoring the hate crimes angle. To the corporate owned mainstream news media, an angry man shouting anti-Christian slurs and curse words as he shoots down innocent Christian children is not filled with “hate” but only acting on a random act. How pathetic.
Michael Medved had another observation about the shootings at Wedgwood Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Tx and why the media has not given the incident much press. In comparing the event to what happened at Columbine High School in Colorado, many people including those in the media could relate to the Colorado students who were shot much more because those kids could have been their own. You know the kind: white middle class kids, jocks and cheerleaders, attending public school. Just like the reporters kids, right?
Now how well do you suppose those same reporters and editors can relate to a group of kids attending a Christian worship activity? And Baptist to boot? I would imagine that Baptists are a bit too conservative for them and they couldn’t imagine THEIR kids at such an event. Not mainstream or liberal enough for them and as a result not deserving of the news coverage given to jocks and cheerleaders being shot.
Attorney General Janet Reno said it was too soon to declare the attack a hate crime. “We should just find out what happened and why,” she said at her weekly news briefing. President Bill Clinton, in the predictable “for the children” statement to reporters at the White House, said the attack should serve to remind parents that “we have to redouble our efforts to protect our children. We know we have to act as if it were our own children being targeted.” To his credit, Texas Gov. George W. Bush cut short a presidential campaign trip in Michigan to return to Texas and “add some comfort.” “It’s hard to explain how somebody would have enough hatred in their heart to walk into a church where people are seeking God’s guidance and shoot them,” he said.
Well, Ms. Reno, Mr. Clinton and Gov. Bush, I’ve said it before and it bears repeating now, while you’re so busy studying the problem, you simply can’t see (or refuse to see) what is clearly before you. And, why don’t they see it? Could it be because as the Bible says,
“The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks in them will know peace. So justice is far from us, and righteousness does not reach us. We look for light, but all is darkness; for brightness, but we walk in deep shadows. Like the blind we grope along the wall, feeling our way like men without eyes. At midday we stumble as if it were twilight; among the strong, we are like the dead. We all growl like bears; we moan mournfully like doves. We look for justice, but find none; for deliverance, but it is far away. For our offenses are many in your sight, and our sins testify against us. Our offenses are ever with us, and we acknowledge our iniquities: rebellion and treachery against the LORD, turning our backs on our God, fomenting oppression and revolt, uttering lies our hearts have conceived. So justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter. Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey.” (Isaiah 59:8-15)
Another influence that has changed the media is politics.
Savvy politicians understand that in order to win elections, they must control the media. Recent election cycles have proven the influence the mainstream media has on the outcomes of elections.
John Ziegler’s documentary “Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected and Palin Was Targeted,” is a must watch film for anyone wanting to understand how the media influences the political campaign trail. “The bottom line is that Barack Obama would not have been elected, or even nominated, and Sarah Palin would not be the ex-Governor of Alaska with high disapproval numbers, if the media had been remotely fair in 2008.” according to Ziegler. The film takes hundreds of examples of what Ziegler deems “media malfeasance” and compiles them into a light-hearted storyline.
Folks, these are examples of the “scientific technological elite” President Eisenhower warned us about in 1961, only on a more mature, refined, and effective level.
One such company, Cambridge Analytica boasts about their ability to combine over 5,000 pieces of data that they can collect on any given individual – from what airlines they’ve flown on to what magazines they’re subscribed to and everything else you can possibly imagine – to help create “psychographic” profiles of that person.
Donald Trump turned to these data analytic professionals in designing parts of his 2016 presidential campaign. The London-based data firm Cambridge Analytica was testing out slogans like “Drain the Swamp” and “Build the Wall” as early as 2014 according to Business Insider.
Apparently, the imagery of draining the swamp appealed to some inner subconscious feeling held by many conservative voters. But, Trump has not “drained the swamp”… he has only replaced one set of swamp creatures with another set. Certainly, “Build the Wall” fed a sense of nationalism in the minds of many and tapped into a feeling of “security”. Will the wall ever be built? I doubt it. Sure, there will be stretches along the Mexico/US border with new barriers built, but it’s reasonably impractical to wall off the entire southern border. And the slogan, “Lock Her Up” may appeal to the anger felt by many Americans over the unjust legal system with its two-tier system of justice, yet, Hillary Clinton still walks the streets a free person.
And what about the feigned dislike Donald Trump seems to level at the mainstream media, oftentimes calling them out as purveyors of “fake news”? Trump doesn’t dislike the media… he USES the media to his advantage get his message out. What better way to get headlines and lead story on the nightly news that voicing some bombastic remark sure to get people’s attention. He is probably the most astute promoter since P.T. Barnum. I think most people know in their deeper self that media is fake. They know movies are not real. They know their favorite actors are just that: actors. But, there’s something within people that gives them comfort living an illusion.
These kind of mind manipulation techniques will undoubtedly be used by the antichrist campaign for the mark of the beast.
And, yet another front is the Marxist inspired New World Order campaign for world domination. In order to accomplish their goals, they understand the importance of controlling the flow of information and will do whatever it takes to protect their propaganda machine.
Perhaps the following quote from the preeminent New York journalist, John Swinton, made at a dinner for his peers will help answer the question, whatever happened to freedom of press?
“There is no such thing, at this date of the world’s history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it. There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone. “The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it, and what folly is this toasting an independent press? We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes.” [Source: Labor’s Untold Story, by Richard O. Boyer and Herbert M. Morais, published by United Electrical, Radio & Machine Workers of America, NY, 1955/1979, as cited on nexusmagazine.com
The once great protector and defender of the First Amendment, the press, is now being transformed into an oppressor of free speech and propaganda tool of globalists designed to normalize the unthinkable.
Spin: The Illusion Of Media
Over the past few decades we have witnessed the conglomeration of a once free press dedicated to an objective reporting of the news to the American public into a technocratic multi-national corporate homogeny where news is manufactured as a consumer commodity to be sold and controlled by the greed of corporate executives and stockholders.
On another front in the assault on free speech is the commercialism that has spread throughout the profit driven mainstream corporate media. Huge multinational corporate “scientific technological elite” now control the media with their advertising dollars and as a result control most of the information that citizens rely upon for making so-called informed choices.
Bill Moyers addresses NCMR 2008
The media has been bought and paid for by multinational corporations who influences how news is reported to protect their financial empires while the government uses the mockingbird media to spread propaganda to influence and control the masses.
As more Americans are dumbed-down by the onslaught of corporate driven messages disguised as “truth,” they are being manipulated by the enemies of freedom as public opinion is swayed in favor of their deceitful agenda.
When a dissenting voice is raised, unreported facts disclosed, or criticism is leveled, the press is quick to squelch that voice, fact, or criticism.
While there are numerous examples I could cite, one I’ve witnessed firsthand was the media manipulation of the 2008 Presidential campaign.
How many Americans do you believe would be favorable to a message of freedom, sound money, non-interventionism, and free markets? Do you think Americans would support a candidate that believed in protecting our Constitution and getting rid of those things in our society that are unconstitutional?
We’ve all heard the mantra of “change” spewed forth from nearly all the candidates, but how many of us know what that “change” entails?
Sadly, the word “change” is a euphemism for “more of the same.”
“When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker, a raving lunatic.” – Dresden James
When a candidate talked about real change, they were marginalized by the corporate mainstream media and their message all-but censored from public discourse. The candidate I’m referring to is Ron Paul, and from the very beginnings of his campaign, the mainstream media had blacklisted his message of change. It simply was not the status quo message promoted by corporate America and Socialist government.
His fellow candidates publicly laughed at his Constitutional message and he was blocked from sharing his message on the public airwaves. His primary results were either under-reported or not reported at all. The time he was given in the primary debates was only a fraction that given the corporate hand-picked candidates. As a result, few Americans even knew that he was a candidate for President of the United States, and fewer were given the privilege of hearing what his platform was.
I believe if he had been given a fair opportunity to share his vision with the American people, there would be little doubt who our next President of the United States would have been. I believe the grass-root American is a decent person that believes in the patriotic vision our Founders gave us in the Constitution. However, that’s not the same vision held by the New World Order and their propagandists were obliged to shape public opinion to their mind-numbed interpretation of change.
Why this attack on the First Amendment should be a concern to Christians?
At a time when it is absolutely imperative to think for ourselves, most Americans are being absolutely overwhelmed with information and seem more than content to let others do their thinking for them.
As I outlined in A Christian Patriot Action Plan to Resist the New World Order, I’ve suggested the following actions:
We must become educated and learn to think critically, rather than simply accepting what the enemy wants us to believe. It’s critical that you take personal responsibility for your education and take an active role in acquiring it. Question everything. Never simply accept what someone tells you, check it out for yourself and thoughtfully research it for yourself. If you lack the ability to ask questions and find valid answers, then you’re left to believe whatever you’re taught by others.
Turn OFF your TV and tune out the fear, propaganda, and disinformation. Instead balance your intake of secular entertainment with activities that improve your critical thinking.
Stop reading and listening to state run mainstream media outlets immediately and search out alternative sources for your news. While there is still “some” truth on the Internet, you should seek it out. Don’t just take what you read as “truth” but ask questions, pray, and dig a little bit into the topics presented and you’ll get a more balanced view.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. – Philippians 4:8
Depending upon your degree of dependence on the corporate media as your information source about the world, your perspective of events will be either more realistic or distorted.
Once the powers that shouldn’t be are able to limit free speech, Christians will eventually be silenced and sharing the Gospel would be prohibited.
And, it’s the distortions of your perceptions the antichrist will someday use to persuade you to take his mark and pledge allegiance to him.
Knowledge is Power!
Once you understand the battle before you and know the endgame, it’s power over you will be diminished. Like the magician who never reveals how his tricks are accomplished because once you know his gimmick, his illusion will disappear. The same is true among those filling our minds with propaganda… once you gain knowledge of their gimmick, the power of their messages will dissipate.
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. – 1 Corinthians 9:24 ESV
