In the COVID-19 novel coronavirus pandemic, countries around the world shut their borders, restricted travel, closed businesses, canceled events, quarantined citizens, and mandated shelter in place orders for millions of people.

Overwhelmed public health systems increasingly turned to government and the military industrial complex to save them from the invisible enemy. Governors in all 50 states of the nation have declared emergencies in their states and now many are starting to activate their Air and Army National Guard to help deal with the growing coronavirus pandemic. Troops in New York, New Jersey, Wisconsin, Louisiana and Michigan, among other states, are supporting relief efforts. Their stated mission includes disinfecting public spaces, distributing food, assisting with transportation and logistical support of health officials, and collecting and delivering samples.  Seems benign enough, right?

A New Normal

It seems to me the Covid scamdemic was another step in the growing police state and eventual establishment of martial law in America.  Besides the normalization of mobilizing the National Guard, I am concerned of the possible effects of public/private partnerships will have on society in the long term.  I am concerned about the growing number of needless deaths and the erosion of human and civil rights .

What is Martial Law?

Martial law is a term that describes the government order of replacing civil rule with the military in a time of war or emergency.

The last formal declaration of federal martial law in the United States occurred in Hawaii during World War II, following the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. President Franklin D. Roosevelt approved the declaration, and Hawaii remained under martial law until October 24, 1944—nearly three years. The U.S. Army controlled every aspect of civilian life on the islands, from criminal justice to curbside trash removal. [The Hill]

The Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 restricts the use of federal military forces for domestic law enforcement, making martial law a rare and controversial tool.

More often than not, martial law is imposed by individual states rather than the federal government such as during riots, labor disputes, or natural disasters. Between 1857 and 1945, martial law was declared 70 times in the United States. In most cases, a state governor imposed it on a city, county or group of counties. This was sometimes in response to violent civil unrest but more often to break strikes on behalf of business interests. These declarations lasted anywhere from days to years. Martial law was last declared in the United States in 1966, when Governor Pat Brown of California imposed it to suppress unrest in the Hunters Point neighborhood of San Francisco after a white police officer shot a black teenager.

The Rise of the Police State

The US Army announced in 2008, the First Brigade Combat Team of the Third Division was placed under the command of US Army North, the Army’s component of the Pentagon’s Northern Command (NorthCom), which was created in the wake of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks with the stated mission of defending the US “homeland” and aiding federal, state and local authorities. This marks first time ever, the US military is deploying an active duty regular Army combat unit for full-time use inside the United States to deal with emergencies, including potential civil unrest.

Military Preparing for Martial Law

The Washington Post reported on plans to station 20,000 more U.S. troops inside America for purposes of “domestic security”, an expansion of Northcom’s militarization of the country in preparation for potential civil unrest following a total economic collapse or a mass terror attack. “The U.S. military expects to have 20,000 uniformed troops inside the United States by 2011 trained to help state and local officials respond to a nuclear terrorist attack or other domestic catastrophe, according to Pentagon officials,” reports the Post.

The contention that the troops will merely help “recovery efforts” after a major catastrophe is contradicted by the fact that Northcom itself, in a September 8 Army Times article, said the first wave of the deployment, which was put in place on October 1st at Fort Stewart and at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, would be aimed at tackling “civil unrest and crowd control”.

After a controversy arose surrounding the admissions made in the Army Times article, Northcom retracted the claim but conceded that both lethal and non-lethal weaponry traditionally used in crowd control and riot situations would still be used in the field.

As Alex Jones exposed in the late 1990’s, U.S. troops have been training for a considerable amount of time. During numerous urban warfare drills that Jones attended and reported on, troops were trained to raid, arrest and imprison U.S. citizens in detention camps as well as taking over public buildings and running checkpoints. During role playing exercises, actors playing prisoners would scream “I’m an American citizen, I have rights” as they were being dragged away by troops.

Police State 4: The Rise of FEMA

Concentration style camps and detention facilities have been constructed around the country and bills are being introduced in Congress authorizing the Department of Homeland Security to implement its network of FEMA camp facilities to house U.S. citizens in the event of a national emergency or to “meet other appropriate needs, as determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security.”

We’re now hearing reports of vaccination centers being set up around the world to house those who refuse the experimental shots promoted by Big Pharma.  And, the U.S. government is turning is population against one another, re-framing the manufactured Covid crisis into what they call “a pandemic of the un-vaccinated.”

Increasingly, Christians and conservatives are being targeted as domestic terrorists.

The 2012 passage of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) may have set the stage for an eventual martial law in America.  It allows the military to detain indefinitely without trial any US citizen that the government labels a terrorist or an accessory to terrorism.

President Barack Obama’s signing of the National Defense Resources Preparedness Executive Order authorized widespread federal and military control of the national economy and resources during “emergency and non-emergency conditions.”

While the troops may not be patrolling your streets and keeping you locked in your homes, the military was actively involved in the “war on Covid-19”.  President Trump and talking heads throughout society framed the pandemic in military terms and our government was admittedly on a war footing.

President Trump declared a national emergency over the coronavirus outbreak amid extensive disruptions to the economy and American life.

The president’s declaration of a national emergency means that he will enact the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act, which allows the White House to mobilize the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and direct federal aid to states hit by disasters and health crises.

Defense Production Act

President Trump tapped his authority under the 70-year-old Defense Production Act to give the government more power to steer production by private companies and try to overcome shortages in masks, ventilators and other supplies. [AP] On March 18, 2020, President Trump issued an executive order that defined ventilators and protective equipment as “essential to the national defense”, the standard required by the DPA. On March 27, 2020, after negotiations with GM had broken down over costs, estimated at over $1 billion, but primarily due to GM’s inability to commit delivering the number of ventilators required speedily, Trump ordered HHS Secretary Alex Azar to use the DPA to require GM to accept and prioritize contracts for as many ventilators as Azar determines to be appropriate.  On April 2, Trump said he was invoking the DPA to require 3M, General Electric, and Medtronic to increase its production of protective masks (N-95 respirators).

Activating the National Guard

In the 9/11 response in 2001, thousands of National Guard troops were activated nationwide for airport security, infrastructure protection, and support to law enforcement.

But, when whatever manufactured crisis subsides, the government does not pull back it’s draconian actions… no, they keep expanding them and strengthening them. Then another crisis like coronavirus comes along and they layer new controls on top of what they previously laid.

The Trump Administration approved in 2020 the activation of the National Guard in California, New York and Washington state to fight the coronavirus epidemic. The president said, the state governors will retain command of the National Guard, but the Federal Emergency Management Agency will cover all costs of the missions to respond to the virus outbreak.

In 2021, 25,000 National Guard troops were deployed in Washington D.C. as the capitol complex was effectively shut down to the public for the Presidential inauguration of Joe Biden. Not only metal detectors were installed, but also eight-feet high metal walls were erected overnight around the Capitol Hill. While it’s not unusual for heightened security during an inauguration, the levels being deployed now is beyond anything I’ve seen in my lifetime.

It’s not just about physical protection — it’s a sign of spiritual vulnerability. When a nation must guard its own inauguration with military force, it’s not just politics — it’s a warning. The fortress mentality reflects a deeper fracture: trust eroded, truth obscured, and righteousness replaced by ritual. The inauguration was framed as a return to “normalcy,” but the military presence betrayed the reality — division, unrest, and spiritual confusion (Jeremiah 6:14). 

In 2025, up to 1,700 troops were deployed across 19 states including Texas, Georgia, Florida, and Ohio to support ICE and DHS with logistics, clerical work, and detainee processing for immigration enforcement.

Again in 2025, 800 D.C. National Guard troops were activated to assist with public safety and law enforcement presence in Washington, D.C. President Trump declared a public safety emergency, placing the D.C. police department under federal control.

It’s not just the U.S. that is threatened by the growing military state.  It’s all too common to see troops deployed to quell the growing resistance throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.  Who can forget that chilling image of a student blocking the advance of a tank in Tienanmen Square?

Our neighbors to the north in Canada are not immune to this growing police state.

The Stage Being Set for Martial Law in America

I contend that marital law has already been declared in America – only we can’t see it clearly yet.  The globalists have been introducing pieces of martial law for years in little bits and steps.  Each of those steps are largely ignored by the public since they seem reasonable at the time. 

The latest threat of possible martial law in America is yet another piece or step in the Fabian Socialist agenda of incremental “reasonable” regulations, restrictions and reforms inducing America into the globalist new world order.

As has been their method for years, Fabian Socialists understand that they will not be able to radically change this country over night. Rather, theirs is a step-by-step incremental approach of first undermining the foundations of this country by creating doubt and distrust supported by an activist court busy rewriting the Constitution of the United States.

While there is some debate whether the governments reaction in the pandemic was martial law, as Rahm Emanuel suggested, it seems the government may have used the Covid-19 response as a beta-test of rolling out full blown martial law in America. It certainly seemed like a test of our resolve and alignment of our compliance to government mandates.

In many ways we witnessed a form of martial law in America during the Covid-19 pandemic.  “Guidance” was filtered down from the federal government to the states where governors were left to enforcement.  We haven’t heard much about how the feds influenced state governors to carry out that guidance. Given many states were begging the federal government for supplies and assistance, perhaps that is the commodity traded for state compliance. Financial aid to states for highways, education, public safety, healthcare, environment, and more is the modus operandi used to get states to conform to national standards.
