How Should We Then Live?

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

Perhaps you’ve read the book, How Should We Then Live? by  Francis Schaeffer, one of the foremost evangelical thinkers of the twentieth century, who long pondered the fate of declining Western culture. In this brilliant book he analyzed the reasons for modern society’s state of affairs and presented the only viable alternative: living by the Christian ethic, acceptance of God’s revelation, and total affirmation of the Bible’s morals, values, and meaning.  This is Dr. Francis Schaeffer’s spectacular series on the … Continue reading →

False Doctrine Often Found in Cults

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

Dave Breese in his book, “Know The Marks of a Cult,” points out the following false doctrine often found in cults: Extrabiblical Revelation: The belief that God is still speaking today through documents and individuals – revealing new truth that may supercede what is recorded in the Bible. I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if … Continue reading →

War on Christianity

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

Never before in American history have Christians experienced the war on Christianity, of being hated for following Jesus Christ as they are today. Jesus warned his disciples and explained why there exists a hatred for Christianity. “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the … Continue reading →

The Calvinist will deny this Biblical fact since they are of the opinion that God already … Continue reading →

Thus he cannot know and experience God’s love and plan for his life. Man was created to have fellowship with God; but, because of his … Continue reading →

The Cost of Following Jesus

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

Why do only a few people follow Christ for a lifetime? Why do some appear to follow for a time and then fall away? What prevents us from following Jesus wholeheartedly? Why do many of us prefer to build on the sand rather than the rock? It can’t be that we don’t know about Him.  With all the technology available today, the archaeological research confirming the people and places of the Bible, the immense volumes of writings of believers explaining … Continue reading →

The Christians Calling

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

And he said unto them, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” – Mark 16:15 This is our primary duty, our calling if you will. As Christians living in this present world, we are to share the gospel with others. It was our Lord’s last command He left with us before his ascension to heaven and it was also one of His first commands to those he called to follow Him. When Jesus called … Continue reading →

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

“The righteous man shall live by faith” – Galatians 3:11 Spiritual growth results from trusting Jesus Christ. A life of faith will enable you to trust God increasingly with every detail of your life, and to practice the following: Go to God in prayer daily (John 15:7). Read God’s Word daily (Acts 17:11) – begin with the Gospel of John. Obey God moment by moment (John 14:21). Witness for Christ by your life and words (Matthew 4:19; John 15:8).
