Dispensationalists teach at the end of a future Tribulation period all the armies of the nations of the world will be gathered together in the valley of Armageddon just north of Jerusalem. It will start with little wars and grow and grow until there will be a great climax “Armageddon.” The armies will be there to destroy Israel but Jesus Christ shall destroy all of these armies at His Coming. (Isa. 13:1-18). The LORD will be king over the whole … Continue reading →
Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets. – Amos 3:7 Thousands of years ago, God revealed to His prophet Isaiah a time when He would establish His government here on earth. This is what Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem: In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will … Continue reading →
But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. – 2 Peter 3:8-9 I’ve got to be honest with you… I find it difficult to understand precisely what Peter is saying about a … Continue reading →
In the 40 days following Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection, He appeared to His disciples and spoke about the kingdom of God (Acts 1:3). Wouldn’t you love to read a detail account about those teachings in that 40 days? While I don’t find a chapter in the Bible specifically covering this topic, I do find throughout the gospels and epistles teaching about the kingdom of God. Jesus Himself declares “the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). At one point … Continue reading →

Do we accept what is recorded by this source as being accurate and applicable to our current-day lives. . The truth will set you free Jesus tells us that if we are his disciples and follow His teaching… then, and only then, will we know the truth that sets us free. “If you hold to my teaching, you are really … Continue reading →
Premillennialism teaches that the Second Coming happens first, and the Millennium follows—a 1,000‑year period of Christ’s physical rule on Earth described in Revelation 20:1–6. This view contrasts with: Amillennialism — sees the “thousand years” as symbolic and already happening spiritually. Postmillennialism — believes Christ returns after a golden age of gospel success. What Premillennialists Expect Most forms of premillennialism anticipate: A period of increasing global turmoil The rise of the Antichrist The Tribulation Christ’s dramatic return A literal 1,000‑year kingdom … Continue reading →

Postmillennialism sees Christ coming to set up his kingdom after the millennium when man has adequately prepared the world through faithful preaching of the gospel message as the church is empowered by the Holy Spirit. This eschatological view looks for a great revival in the church. Swelling numerical growth and spiritual vitality leading up to the Second Coming. Postmillennialists believe Christ will not come again until after there has been what Robert Bater of Queen’s Theological College in Kingston, Ontario, … Continue reading →
It’s becoming all too common: Children killing children at school. Americans, fed by the liberal media continue to grapple with why these young teens can turn from “just a normal kid” to a cold blooded murderer. With each tragedy it seems everyone keeps asking the same question… why? And they never seem to figure it out. They simply don’t have a clue as to what is going on around them? Sadly, when the shock wears off after a few days … Continue reading →
If you know anything about the current state of tension between North Korea and the United States or Iran and the United States, then you know that trouble is brewing. It’s barely contained as it hovers right under the surface just waiting to boil over. ” wars and rumors of wars” – Matthew 24:6 Donald Trump accurately described President Obama’s Iran deal, the so-called Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), as “disastrous.” It is one of the first things he … Continue reading →
Amillennialism owes its major impetus to the well-known Catholic theologian Augustine. He decided that the kingdom could not be literal, holding that there will be no physical, earthly millennial kingdom over which Christ will rule. To Augustine, it must be a spiritual kingdom. The kingdom of God, he declared, was “in the hearts” of faithful men, not in an actual literal kingdom on the earth over which Christ would one day rule. At first, he was convinced that the thousand-year … Continue reading →
Baha’is will answer, ‘yes.’ They claim the foundations of Christianity and the religion of Baha’u’llah are one. Indeed, the foundations of ALL the divine Prophets and Holy Books are one, they believe. The difference among them is one of terminology only. The Baha’i Faith is essentially rationalistic. They say, “We must not accept traditional dogmas that are contrary to reason, nor pretend to believe doctrines which we cannot understand. To do so is superstitious and not true religion.” Because of … Continue reading →
You may think you will never face a final judgment but you’re mistaken as it cannot be avoided. Whatever way you choose to interpret prophecy on the end times, we are told that “it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). Modern liberals claim that a loving God would not harshly judge mankind, even though Scripture is very clear that God’s righteousness demands judgment. Great White Throne Judgment “And I saw a great … Continue reading →
In these days, when people are searching for meaning and truth, for purpose and hope, I can think of no better source for guidance than the Holy Scriptures. In 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Paul writes that all of God’s Word is “profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.” That includes God’s prophetic Word. God intends that we understand the contents of the prophetic Word and that it will have a bearing upon the practical decisions we … Continue reading →
