The Danger of Borrowed Expectations

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

“Do not go beyond what is written.” — 1 Corinthians 4:6 Many believers today expect a future Antichrist because they inherited a system—not because they studied the Scriptures deeply. Borrowed expectations create borrowed convictions, and borrowed convictions rarely withstand pressure. The last days will not be navigated by those who merely know prophecy charts, but by those who know the voice of the Shepherd. The enemy doesn’t fear Christians who memorize timelines. He fears Christians who obey truth. Prayer: Lord, … Continue reading →

Living in the Light of the Blessed Hope

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

Titus 2:13 calls us to look for “the blessed hope — the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.” That single verse anchors the believer’s anticipation. It reminds us that history is not drifting aimlessly, and our lives are not unfolding without purpose. There is a day appointed when Christ will appear, not in humility as He once came, but in blazing glory that will silence every doubt and fulfill every promise. The blessed hope … Continue reading →

Some See a Lump of Clay, Others See a Masterpiece

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand. – Isaiah 64:8 (ESV) Two people can look at the same lump of clay and see entirely different things. One sees something ordinary and shapeless. The other sees a beautiful sculpture waiting to be revealed. The difference is vision. Sometimes we look at ourselves and see only our failures, weaknesses, and unfinished work. We may … Continue reading →

Overcoming Life’s Obstacles

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

Solipsists believe that the self is the center of reality—that everything outside their own perception is uncertain or irrelevant. And while few would ever claim that philosophy outright, the spirit of the age pushes us dangerously close to it. We are surrounded by voices that elevate self, drown out truth, and distract us from the things that matter. Paul reminds us that every fear, every discouragement, every spiritual setback begins in our thoughts. The enemy works overtime in that inner … Continue reading →

You Are Being Prepared for What’s Ahead

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

There’s a lot of talk today about global shifts, changing systems, and a “new world order.” People feel the shaking. They sense the uncertainty. They see the world moving in directions that don’t always honor God. But here’s the truth the Holy Spirit keeps whispering to His people: “Do not be afraid… for the Lord your God goes with you.” — Deuteronomy 31:6 You are not being groomed for fear. You are being prepared for faithfulness. God is not raising … Continue reading →

Abiding in Christ, Not Anxiety

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

“Abide in Me, and I in you.” — John 15:4 The Bible never commands us to obsess over the Antichrist. It commands us to abide in Christ. Fear of the future is a distraction. Anxiety about prophecy is a trap. The safest place in the last hour is not inside a perfect interpretation—it is inside a faithful relationship. The spirit of antichrist pulls hearts away from Christ. The Spirit of God pulls hearts deeper into Him. Abiding is the antidote … Continue reading →

When Comfort Becomes a Cage

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

“You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.” — 1 Corinthians 7:23 (NKJV) In Brave New World, Aldous Huxley warned of a society so saturated with pleasure and distraction that people would come to love their servitude. They wouldn’t resist tyranny—they’d embrace it, anesthetized by comfort and convenience. Sound familiar? Today, we face a spiritual parallel. Many are lulled into complacency by the rhythms of the world: endless entertainment, curated feeds, and the illusion of control. … Continue reading →

The Word as Our Only Lens

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

“To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” — Isaiah 8:20 Every generation faces the temptation to interpret Scripture through the lens of its times. But God calls us to interpret our times through the lens of Scripture. This is the only way to see clearly. Tradition may be helpful. Teachers may be insightful. But only the Word is light. In the last … Continue reading →

The Spirit of Antichrist Is Already Here

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

“Even now many antichrists have come. By this we know that it is the last hour.” — 1 John 2:18 John didn’t tell us to fear a future Antichrist. He warned us about the spirit of antichrist already at work—in deception, compromise, and the subtle drift away from truth. The enemy doesn’t need a global dictator to deceive hearts; he only needs a church distracted by speculation and unanchored from Scripture. Prophetic charts can’t protect us. Biblical discernment can. The … Continue reading →

When We Cannot See, God Still Reigns

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

“In the time of the end the wise shall understand.” — Daniel 12:10 Sir Isaac Newton’s study of Daniel and Revelation, Observations upon the Prophecies of Daniel, and the Apocalypse of St. John, reminds us that biblical prophecy was never given merely to satisfy our curiosity about tomorrow. God’s purposes unfold according to His timing, and history ultimately reveals that He remains in control. There will be confusion, corruption, persecution, and earthly kingdoms that rise and fall. Yet behind it … Continue reading →

When Systems Become Scripture

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105 The modern church inherited many prophetic systems—charts, timelines, and interpretations that feel ancient but are actually recent. John Nelson Darby’s 19th‑century framework is one example. His ideas about a future Antichrist, a seven‑year tribulation, and a pre‑tribulation rapture became so familiar that many believers assume they are Scripture. But familiarity is not authority. The danger comes when repeated teachings begin to feel biblical … Continue reading →

When the World Says “Win,” Jesus Says “Follow”

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

In the film Billions, every character is chasing something—money, power, revenge, control. Their lives orbit around the next deal, the next victory, the next strategic move. And yet, for all the brilliance and ambition on display, there’s a quiet emptiness underneath it all. Scripture has a name for that emptiness: idolatry—when anything other than God becomes the center of our lives. “You cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24 The show becomes a mirror. It reminds us how easy it … Continue reading →

The Beginning of Wisdom

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts have good understanding.” — Psalm 111:10 Wisdom doesn’t begin with intelligence, education, or experience. It begins with reverence—a heart that trembles at God’s Word and delights in His commands. Scripture makes it plain: those who truly understand God’s Word will walk in obedience. And those who refuse to obey—whether through neglect, pride, or compromise—reveal a shallow and incomplete understanding of the truth. To know God’s … Continue reading →

Beyond Luck: Living Under God’s Favor

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

The lucky man is he who despises luck. The unlucky one is the fellow who worships it. Luck is a flimsy thing to lean on. It shifts, it fades, it disappoints. But the man who despises luck—who refuses to trust in chance—is actually the one who stands on the strongest ground. He knows his life is not governed by randomness but by a faithful God who orders every step. Christian perspective on luck Scripture says, “The steps of a good … Continue reading →

The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.

Jeremiah Project Posted on by

In the secular world, companies are always hiring. They post job openings, offer bonuses, and search for people with the right skills. But even when the pay is good, many hesitate to apply because the work looks hard, inconvenient, or outside their comfort zone. Jesus says the same thing happens in the Kingdom. There’s a field full of people who need hope, encouragement, truth, and love. The harvest is ready—He’s already done the heavy lifting. But the workers are few … Continue reading →
