FDA Declares War on Vaping
The FDA has decided to enforce unfair regulations on vaping gear which will, in turn, affect the industry as a whole.
While it may be necessary to regulate electronic cigarettes to guarantee user’s safety, however, the upcoming FDA regulations are wildly disproportionate to the need to keep users safe and are abusive to the industry.
The FDA regulations pose a threat to each existing vaping product on the market. It said that submitting an application to get a product approved could take more than 1,700 hours and cost more than $1 million. “This is not a regulation — it is prohibition,” stated the American Vaping Association.
These these restrictions will more than likely ruin most vape shops with the increased prices of devices.
It should be noted according to recent studies, vaping represents a much healthier alternative to tobacco smoking, it is quite frankly saving people’s lives – how can you put a price on that. Clearly, the FDA is not as interested in people’s health as they are more MONEY, CONTROL, and JURISDICTION.
These unreasonable policies for the e-cigarette industry will result in millions of people going back to smoking, having a direct negative impact on the public’s health. It will also impact on vape shop owners and distributors which will directly affect people’s livelihoods, all factors the FDA do not seem to care about.
